I took the day off on Friday from my day job where I work as a graphic designer. I spent that day as well as Saturday and today working on a piece I'm donating to a raffle. I said I'd donate something months ago but haven't been able to decide what to paint. I've been really into drawing these characters for the last few months so on Thursday I decided to draw/paint a collection of them. I finished them in a minimal way that I've been interested in lately.
I bought a simple pine frame and stained it dark walnut. Here's the final product:

I really enjoy this. It's so wonderfully simple and honest. Reminds me of coming in on a cold winter day.
These characters are fabulous - I particularly like moustache man!
