Many congratulations on the class, sounds like a fascinating opportunity! I wish I was in Alberta then I could sign up. Out of interest, in the last post what is the circle on your hubby's wrist... a tattoo? Whatever, it is a very strong study. I think there's something about hands which is so suggestive of the subjects character. I always prefer drawing hands to drawing feet... who was it who said that feet are just there to stop your legs from fraying at the ends...?!
Yes, that is a tattoo on my hubby's wrist. I have the same one... sort of an engagement ring... I'm not really a diamonds kinda girl.
I really like drawing hands, but only if the hands are the focus. I don't like drawing them when they're a small part of a body. I think it's all the lines and wrinkles and bones that I enjoy and that detail gets lost when the hands are small.
But I also enjoy drawing feet in the same way, for the same reason.
