blog banner
I'd like to illustrate my own blog banner so I've been sketching out a few ideas for that lately. I've settled on an idea but I'm still working out the drawing. This lady is on the rejected pile - she doesn't quite look the way i want her to.

I'd use 'bundled kid' for the banner, he is really great! Smelly sock is nice and quirky... Uncle Fred worries me slightly :)... cover girl is lovely, a nice use of background texture is very successful in accentuating her pale skin.
Depending on how the bundled kid turns out when I paint him I suppose he could end up being my blog banner.
