Sketch of Bob Rabbit
© 2007
I just completed this sketch last night. It was one of the sketches that I started with and it has been the hardest one so far to resolve. With most of the sketches, by the third draft I'm happy enough to move on to another one. I must have done 10 drawings of this bunny before arriving at this version. It feels good to have him finished.

He's great! I love his face! He looks all upset and agitated but still so cute. I think he was worth doing 10 revisions.
That's a mean looking rabbit. I hope he's the bad guy.
Well maybe not mean, but definately Angry. RRRRRRR
cute bunny! ^.^
these sketches would be so lovely when done up with color pencils, or watercolors...
do you use a lightbox? would really help if you could use one to make your corrections and revised drawings! :o)
I actually don't use a light box. I used to when I was a student, but I don't own one myself. Usually, when I want to make changes, I'll scan the drawing, open it in photoshop, erase the areas I'm unhappy with, print it out and re-draw those areas. It works pretty well for me.
With this particular drawing, I wasn't so much making small changes to my sketch as starting from scratch each time because I wasn't happy with the way he looked.
