Thursday afternoon Dario and I spent a few hours sketching at the National Gallery here in Edinburgh. It was nice to get out of the flat and have a change in environment. These guys were based on some of the old oil painted portraits in the permanent collection.

Lately I've been doing sketches on the topic of girls in their early teens and the dramas of junior high, hence the illustration about self esteem and now this one about gossip.
