Don't let the recent lack of posts fool you - I've actually been doing lots of drawing and painting during the last several weeks. Since we're going to be in Sarajevo for a while, I bought some paints and a big sheet of watercolor paper. I'll post some of what I've done as soon as I can get some good scans.

A little while ago, the man who lives next door invited my husband and I over to learn how to make paprike, stuffed peppers. I recorded the lesson in my travel journal and then made it for us a few days later, using peppers and tomatoes. Don't let my bad photography fool you; it tasted really good.

anniversary

Three years ago today, we took the day off from work, called 2 of our friends, and eloped in the park by our house.

Happy anniversary to my awesome hubby :)
